The first TAG Expo took place in August 2022, followed by a second edition that was much larger and more comprehensive in coverage in January 2023. TAG Expo, Texvalley stated in a recent press release, has grown in every way over the last two editions. This includes reach, coverage, product range, participating brands and industry innovations.
TAG Expo 2023 at Texvalley in Erode was held on July 24-26.
Over 1,200 buyers attended the event, which showcased international trends and innovations in industry.
The success of the event was boosted by media coverage, digital strategy, and connections made with MSMEs.
The next edition of the event is planned for July 2024.
The event brought together exhibitors, buyers, sellers, manufacturers, agents, brokers, traders and wholesalers from different geographies, categories and sectors. This exposition was made even more spectacular by the participation of top brands and buyers from around the world.
The event wasn’t just advertised through a 360-degree plan, but also covered by leading national and global media platforms. This helped the expo achieve success. The expo reached the right audience by utilizing a wide range of media platforms, including influencer marketing and digital media, as well as outdoor and airport advertising, news publications and print advertisements, press conferences, road shows and newspaper ads. The sponsors were also able to reap the benefits of maximum media coverage.
The event featured a diverse range of textiles, apparel, accessories and conferences by industry experts. Fashion shows were held to international standards and choreographers. Awards ceremonies were held for the best brands. TAG Expo’s third edition was also associated with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which allowed the exhibitors to benefit from the subsidy on exhibiting fees.
TAG Expo 2023 provided a seamless platform to allow both manufacturers and purchasers to grow and partner from the networking that they do at the event. TAG Expo helped to maximise the global audience by generating leads. It was a great opportunity to create a business atmosphere and bring together the various elements of the industry.

TAG Expo 2023 is fully digitalised. All bookings, whether for stalls, or as a buyer/visitor were made online. TAG Expo also had an exclusive app that enabled buyer-manufacturer interaction even after the show. This innovative technology enabled buyers and suppliers to network more effectively.

TAG Expo is a success in its mission to be the leading exposition for apparel and allied products across India, not just the southern states. The next edition of TAG Expo is scheduled in July 2024 and will see an increase in the buyer’s database beyond Indian shores, with the objective to make TAG Expo India’s biggest B2B exposition for the textiles, accessories, and garment industry.
